Getting Healthcare Services

This Wait Times Web site provides information on Nova Scotia’s plan to improve wait times, highlighting the progress to date, and sharing wait time information for publicly funded tests, treatments, and services across the province.

There is no question that some people are waiting too long for needed health care. The province is working with health partners to change that.

Nova Scotians can also help by using the information provided here to decide if they would like to travel outside their communities to a location where the wait is shorter.

We all have a role to play to help improve wait times. Central to this is taking care of our health. Healthy people lead to healthy communities. Being healthy is the number one way to reduce healthcare waits.
