The Province of Nova Scotia has recently passed the
Personal Information International Disclosure Protection Act
(S.N.S 2006, c.3).
This Act creates obligations for the Province of Nova Scotia and its service providers when personal information is collected, used or disclosed. Requirements include limiting storage, access and disclosure of personal information to Canada, except as necessary or otherwise required by law. Please note as a result of the above Act, our standard tendering documents and contacts will be modified to accommodate the new law. More information...
