Is census information available in languages other than French or English?
Yes. Census information is available in 42 languages other than French and English, as well as in 18 Aboriginal languages. Can I get census information for the visually impaired?
Yes. Census information is available in a variety of formats designed to help those with visual impairments.
The online census questionnaire has been made accessible to adaptive technologies and can be accessed at www.census2006.ca. Paper copies of the census questions are also available in large print and Braille formats in both English and French. You may also request an audio format of the questionnaire, or you may choose to answer the questionnaire over the phone by calling the Census Help Line (1 877 594-2006).
