2006 Census of Canada: Search

1. For a simple key word search, type in one or more words. This search engine uses the automatic "and" query by default. If you want to refine the search, or if you want to search within the search results, simply add more words to the query.
   
2. For a phrase search, put the phrase in quotation marks (e.g.: “census data”).
   
3. If you do not want to spell the entire key word, use an asterisk (*) after the first portion of the word. For example, when you search gati*, you will get gatineau as suggested spellings.
