September 20, 2006 | Alternate Interface for Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children Data Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children (HBSC) is a study conducted every four years for youth aged 11, 13, and 15 in approximately 30 countries to provide data on the health, well-being, and behaviour of youth. Since these data on E-STAT are very popular, we have developed an alternate interface to access this data directly from the E-STAT launch page. This portion of the website is organized in a student-friendly format, with icons representing each of 10 topics: Personal Feelings, Home Life, Friends, Risk Behaviour, School, Healthy Eating, Bullying and Fighting, Injuries and Injury Prevention, Health and Illness, and Leisure Time. Once an icon is selected, the user will be brought to a screen listing HBSC tables for that topic. The main HBSC page also includes links to relevant lesson plans and related web pages. This new interface to Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children information can be accessed from the E-STAT launch page. Click Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children (data updated every four years on CANSIM). |
