A Pacific Regional PSMA Conference offered by the Canada School of Public
Service in collaboration with the Pacific Management Community Council.
This Conference will enable the Pacific Region
community / network leaders to:
-
deepen their understanding and appreciation
of the “big picture:” How the public service
environment, the delivery of public service work, and the
federal public service is changing; plus some key government
initiatives that reflect these changes: PSMA; Service Canada;
and Shared Services;
-
explore the role of Communities of Practice
in implementing change and shaping the future;
-
promote inter-departmental and regional
dialogue and collaboration around public service change
initiatives.

Federal Council members and members of
the various Federal Council Communities.
-
Members and leaders of critical
functional communities, such as executives,
middle managers, HR professionals, IT-IM specialists,
finance and administration, communication, in-person
and on-line services delivery, regulatory and law enforcement
and corporate planners;
-
Members and leaders of special
interest communities, such as young public
servants, bargaining agents representatives, process
improvement practitioners, change management/leadership,
pride and recognition, and others.
