On March 31, 2006, the Joint Career Transition Committee (JCTC) has ceased its operations.

Over its 8-year existence, the joint nature of the JCTC committees has facilitated good will and trust between union and management, enabling a consensual broad approach that has generated informed and innovative solutions, such as the Career Opportunities System (COS).

The Government of Canada and the Public Service Unions remain committed to maintaining and enhancing their cooperation and discussions on other possible joint endeavours. Their respective Websites will inform you of other such joint initiatives as they occur.
