Minister of Finance Ralph Goodale to Speak Before the Canadian Society of New York on Friday, April 23, 2004

Minister Goodale will speak at a luncheon event hosted by the Canadian Society of New York. His speech will provide an update on the state of the Canadian economy and offer an overview of the Government’s vision for Canada’s future, including its relations with the United States.

The event will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the New York Yacht Club (37 West 44th Street, New York City) and is open to the media.

The Minister will be available to take questions from journalists at 1:55 p.m.
