Minister of Finance Ralph Goodale to Speak to the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal

Minister Goodale will be the guest speaker at a breakfast event hosted by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal on Tuesday, December 14, 2004. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m., with the Minister scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 8:00 a.m.

The Minister will discuss Canada’s remarkable economic turnaround over the past 10 years as well as the federal government’s views on the fiscal pressures facing the country.

The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Montreal in Grand Salon B, 1255 Jeanne-Mance Street, Montreal.

There will be a question-and-answer session following the Minister’s speech and a media availability at approximately 9:15 a.m. in Room Alfred Rouleau C.
