Minister of Finance James M. Flaherty to Address the Whitby Chamber of Commerce

Minister Flaherty will be the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 9, 2006. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the Minister scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The Minister will speak about his new role as well as key issues that affect the business community both nationally and locally.

The event will take place at Le Gala Banquet & Wedding Centre, 65 Sunray Street, Whitby, Ontario.

The Minister will hold a media availability at approximately 1:30 p.m.
