The EEPMP was a Treasury Board
employment equity program that provided support including tools, services
and funding to assist departments and agencies in meeting their employment
equity goals and objectives. This four-year positive measures program
ended on March 31, 2002.
The four components of the EEPMP
were: the EE Intervention Fund; the EE Partnership Fund; the EE Career
Development Office; and, the EE Enabling Resource Centre for Persons with
Disabilities.

EE Intervention Fund (TBS)
The EE Intervention Fund supported
the TBS's leadership role and ensured the employer's ability to
spearhead, support and kick start initiatives or interventions which
address unique cross-departmental issues or issues identified from
employment equity plans, Canadian Human Rights Commission audits or that
respond to major government priorities.

Practices (2001-03)
This framework was developed to
increase employment of Aboriginal people in Legal Survey's Division's
workforce, and to increase capacity of First Nations' people so that
they can bring to their communities skills that will help them in managing
their land.
These guidelines were developed
following a workshop of the TBS Consultation Committee for Aboriginal
Peoples in order to implement a career development pilot project for
Aboriginal employees.
This report contains
recommendations to overcome existing impediments and to make the federal
public service technology environment accessible to employees with
disabilities, with a view to minimize the need to accommodate individuals
on a case-by-case basis.
This accelerated program was
developed by Fisheries and Oceans Canada as part of their national project
for the recruitment and retention of persons with disabilities. This
project is for the recruitment, by 2005, of 100 indeterminate employees
and 160 term employees.
This Career Progression Program
was developed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as part of its
national pilot program to accelerate the career progression of ten visible
minorities from junior to senior program management level within a two to
three year period.
The EE Partnership Fund supported
multi-departmental projects designed to remove identified barriers to
employment equity. These projects were expected either to be the result of
the collaboration of several federal departments at the regional level,
departments with a common problem across several regions or a functional
community. The Partnership Fund was administered by the PSC.
The EE Career Development Office
component provided support across the public service to those who are
involved in the career counselling and development of designated group
members.
