  • Employment Equity Support Fund (EE-ECSF)
    The Employment Equity Support Fund was a positive measures program designed to accelerate progress and increase momentum in the system for implementing the elements of the Embracing Change Action Plan.
  • Summary of some of the Embracing Change Projects
    The Employment Equity-Embracing Change Support Fund (EE-ECSF) provides some financial support to help departments implement the Embracing Change Action Plan and integrate it into their regular human resources and business activities. These initiatives span strategies for Visible Minorities in recruitment, training, career development, as well as, building a more inclusive corporate culture.
  • Stocktaking Exercise Report
    The report of the mid-term Stocktaking Exercise commissioned by the Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada to assess progress on the implementation of the Embracing Change Action Plan.
  • Positive Practices Search Tool
    Building the Future is an electronic search tool designed to provide continued assistance to departments and agencies with positive practices, lessons learned and other valuable information supporting the implementation of employment equity in the federal Public Service. Using the search tool you will be able to access an information database containing employment equity projects funded over the four years of the Employment Equity Positive Measures Program and the three years of the Embracing Change Initiative.

  • Act on Employment Equity: Expand Your Vision
    This free e-learning application was developed in partnership with Treasury Board Secretariat, and focuses on individual and corporate responsibilities relating to the Employment Equity legislation. It is a pre-course to the Canadian Centre for Management Development’s (CCMD) Diversity: Vision and Action classroom-based course.
  • Diversity: Vision and Action
    This course is designed for managers at all levels of the federal public service who are responsible for managing human resources, making policy, delivering services or implementing programs. It is intended to enhance the leadership capacity of participants to achieve the objectives of the Government's policies and priorities as they relate to workforce diversity.
  • The Diversity Leadership in Action 
    This Canadian Centre for Management Development (CCMD) e-learning application is designed as a stand-alone, self-contained, one-day learning event intended to be personally customized to meet specific requirements and assist leaders at all levels to lead diversity with confidence and bring their departmental employment equity and diversity strategies to life.
  • Equity in the Workplace
    A half-day workshop designed to increase awareness of the barriers in the workplace for people in diverse cultural groups and to foster respect between members of visible minority groups and other employees.
  •  The Masters Level Employment Equity Career Counselling Course
    A powerful learning experience designed to provide you with approaches and tools you need to achieve and maintain representativeness in your organization;A 45-hour (6 days) Masters level course on EE Career Counselling.
  • Exploring Your Potential - A Diversity Perspective
    Members of all EE groups looking for a mentor; managers interested in becoming mentors.
