The departmental library is the research centre of the department. The library contains a wide variety of publications and reference works. These include books, periodicals, pamphlets, government documents, and items on microfilm or microfiche. The subject matter covered ranges from the fields of administration and management to those of trade and foreign relations. The library is open, for purposes of research, to business people, members of the academic community at the graduate level or higher, and officials of Industry Canada and other federal government institutions.
