Broadcast Engineering Database
Description:
This bank contains technical and administrative information related to broadcasting
certificates. The information is used in the issue, renewal and amendment of certificates under the Radiocommunication
Act and in providing technical certification to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC)
to permit the issue of broadcast licenses under the Broadcasting Act. It is also used in meeting the technical criteria
in bilateral agreements with the U.S.A. and agreements administered by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
