Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment
CCME is comprised of environment ministers from the federal, provincial and territorial governments. These 14 ministers normally meet at least once a year to discuss national environmental priorities and determine work to be carried out under the auspices of CCME.

Contaminated Sites Management Working Group (CSMWG)
The CSMWG's objective is to promote and develop a consistent approach for the management of federal contaminated sites issues, which integrates sustainable development and pollution prevention principles while meeting environmental regulations, protecting public health, and establishing a forum for discussion of the various existing technologies, guidelines, and policies.
