Priority Administration: Overview

The new Public Service Employment Act (PSEA) and Public Service Employment Regulations (PSER) govern appointments to positions in the public service. Among their provisions are exceptional clauses that provide an entitlement, for limited periods, for certain classes of persons who meet specific conditions, to be appointed in priority to others.
