The tasks of the Records Management Sub-group are to:

  • Produce a Government of Canada Records Management Metadata Set (GoC-RMMS)
  • Devise guidelines for applying the GoC-RMMS
  • Identify schemes, controlled vocabularies and other sources for use with the GoC-RMMS
  • Create an XML version of the GoC-RMMS

The Sub-group is chaired by Rhonda Healey, Library and Archives of Canada. Membership is open to all federal institutions. Monthly meetings are held at the Library and Archives of Canada in downtown Ottawa.
