As part of the GTEC 2003 theme, E-Canada: Governments working together to serve Canadians, the Chief Information Officer Branch organized the session, Information Management: an enabler for Service Transformation. The session consisted of two panels that looked at innovative approaches by different departments and the private sector to manage information holdings to meet today's expectations and service demands.

This document outlines the Library's metadata strategies for assigning metadata to resources hosted on the National Library of Australia Web site.
