Government Security Policy (Effective date: February 1, 2002)
This policy supports the national interest and the Government of Canada's business objectives by safeguarding employees and assets and assuring the continued delivery of services. Assets include but are not limited to information in all forms and media, networks, systems, materiel, real property, financial resources, employee trust, public confidence and international reputation. This policy complements other Treasury Board policies for the management of human resources (e.g., harassment, occupational safety and health), official languages, information, materiel, real property and financial resources.

Creating a New Reference Librarianship 
Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) Seminar
The OCLC seminar will be held on March 25 and 26, 2002 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the University of Ottawa. The cost is $690.15, which includes lunches and seminar materials.

Accessible Archives Project
National Archives of Canada
The National Archives of Canada (NA) acquires and preserves public and private documents of permanent national interest. The objective of the Accessible Archives Project is to examine various means of making the NA's vast and diverse holdings more accessible to the public. A draft document detailing some of the key elements of the project is available online for review and a questionnaire is available for comments.
