Center for Technology in Government (CTG)
The CTG is an applied research center devoted to improving government
and public services through policy, management, and technology innovation.
Through its program of partnership, reseach, and innovation, the Center
provides government organizations and individuals with an array of tools and
resources designed to support the development of a digital government.

Management System - Proof of Concept Taxonomy Project
Presentation by Elsa Van Hulst,
Information Management Division, TBS to the class "Knowledge
Taxonomies" at McGill University Graduate School of Library and
Information Studies in November 2003. Discusses the Proof of Concept Taxonomy
project under the Gateways and Clusters Content Management Solution initiative.
Presents the project in context of the Government of Canada metadata strategy,
states broad objectives of project, and defines benefits of having a common
multi-cluster taxonomy.

IM Portal Project
The IM Portal Project is a joint venture
between the IM Division and Library and Archives Canada for the Information
Management Community. The IM Portal Web site will provide a single point of
access to information management tools and resources for the Government of
Canada.

IMRC - Government of Canada Metadata Guidance
The IMRC - GoC Metadata Guidance section has been redesigned. New headings and
cross-references have been added to provide faster access to Canadian metadata
resources.
