Content:
This workshop will provide new internal auditors with a hands-on approach to auditing in the federal government. They will be exposed to the
process, methodologies and professional standards and practices used in auditing.
This will be done through the use of lectures, class discussion, small group assignments and participation, as a member of a syndicate, in case studies.
This interactive workshop will encourage participants to "learn by doing" in a team-building environment where communication and interpersonal skills will be cultivated.
Who should attend?
This workshop is directed at newly-appointed internal auditors, who have either little or no previous experience with internal auditing in the Government of Canada. A knowledge of the basic material contained in this workshop is considered necessary for participation in the more advanced internal audit workshops.
