Canada Revenue Agency NAR May 5th, 2006: Correction to the PSEA code - not subject.
P.C. decision 2005-2041 fixes December 12, 2005 as the day on which this Act (Bill C-26) comes into force.
Royal Assent: November 3, 2005.
Bill C-26 (38/01) , as passed by the HOC on June 13, 2005 continues the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency under the name of the Canada Revenue Agency.
P.C. decision 2004-0353, dated March 30, 2004, specifies that subsections 37.3 (1) and (2) of the PSEA apply to Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, effective April 1, 2004.
December 2003: Min. Affil. changed from NAR to REV.
NOTE: The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency kept the Org. Code (NAR) previously assigned to the Department of National Revenue, effective November 1, 1999.
P.C. decisions 1999-1714 to 1999-1736 fixes Monday, November 1, 1999, as the day upon which this Act (Bill C-43) shall come into force, as well as various appointments to the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency.
Royal Assent: April 29, 1999.
Bill C-43 (36/1), as passed by the HoC on December 8, 1998, establishes the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency to carry out the mandate of the Department of National Revenue and repeals the Department of National Revenue Act.
