Text Version of The Enhanced Management Framework for IM/IT Executive Dashboard
The Executive Dashboard is a tool that provides a snapshot, for senior
management, of the overall "health" of an IM/IT project. It provides quick
access to information on the health of an IM/IT project and the project's
status as part of the IM/IT investment portfolio. The dashboard highlights
critical areas of interest against which further detailed information may be
requested.
The critical areas of interest on the Dashboard include
- Project status.
- Planned budget, actual expenditures for reporting period, and forecast
information.
- Planned timeframe (either by gates or milestones) to complete the
deliverables and the project and project progress.
- Percentage of functionality that has been delivered, what is late and
what is overdue.
- Severity of the risk, impact to the project and source of the risk,
e.g. project specific external, and internal to department.
- Staff turnover and overtime for the month.
- Overall health of the project portfolio.
