Library and Archives Canada The use of electronic forms of information has become increasingly necessary. In order to credit electronic information when quoting or paraphrasing its contents, it is necessary to provide a proper bibliographic citation that enables readers to identify and obtain the work. Although no individual style has emerged as the official standard to date, this bibliography lists numerous sources in a variety of formats that offer suggestions for citing electronic information.
