Corcan-Acceptance of Acquisition
Credit Card
This is to notify you that TBS has
authorized Corcan to accept your regular commercial acquisition cards to settle purchase
of goods from Corcan by federal government departments and agencies. We recognize that
this is a minor deviation from policy, and advise that the following three conditions are
part of the arrangement:
- It is an interim measure pending a comprehensive solution being developed by TBS and
PWGSC.
- Corcan must assist OGD's with the accounting challenge.
- An evaluation of the initiative will be carried out in July 1999.
Please share this announcement with appropriate officials in your organization and
ensure that the Corcan transactions are properly accounted for as interdepartmental
transactions.
