This sub-site is for the Professional Development and Certification Program for the Procurement, Materiel Management and Real Property Community and is managed by the Professional Development Program Management Office (PDPMO).

The PDMPO works in close collaboration with community representatives from federal government departments and agencies to develop and deliver a Professional Development and Certification Program. The Program will provide employees with the learning tools to acquire the skills, knowledge and expertise to meet evolving and complex business needs and government priorities, and to implement modernized management policies and practices and associated delegated authorities.

The Program is a key initiative in support of Modern Comptrollership, Human Resource Modernization and Continuous Learning. It will contribute to building the capacity for the sound stewardship of resources, which includes the management of the government's assets.

Key deliverables are the Learning Toolkit, a Core Competency Profile and Assessment Tool, a Curriculum of courses and learning opportunities and a Certification Standard which will contribute to increased professional recognition for the Community.
