The main task of the Training Sub-Group is to develop training strategies and components for Government of Canada
personnel who apply metadata.
Scope:
- The Sub-Group coordinates updates to the Government of Canada Metadata Implementation Guide for Web
Resources. Such updates will include new requirements for metadata.
- The Sub-Group coordinates the creation of generic training tools that can be customized for different applications.
The sub-group is chaired by Karen
Morgenroth, NRC. Membership is open to all federal institutions.
