The Homeowner RRAP offers financial assistance to low-income households who own and occupy substandard housing to enable them to repair their dwellings to a minimum level of health and safety. The financial assistance is in the form of a forgivable loan. The total forgivable loan depends on the cost of the repairs and area of the country.
Program Objective
Provide renovation assistance to low income households in off-reserve communities to address health and safety issues and extend the useful life of the unit for 15 years.
