Moyenne pondérée des taux de change bilatéraux du dollar canadien par rapport aux monnaies des principaux partenaires commerciaux du Canada.

NOTA Les six devises composant l'indice sont le dollar É.-U., l'euro, le yen japonais, la livre sterling, le yuan chinois et le peso mexicain. Le won sud-coréen est inclus dans l'indice avant 1996, mais non le yuan chinois. L'indice TCEC a remplacé l'indice C-6 en octobre 2006. Ses pondérations sont établies sur la base du commerce multilatéral, alors que celles de l'indice C-6 l'étaient sur la base des échanges bilatéraux.

A weighted average of bilateral exchange rates for the Canadian dollar against the currencies of Canada's major trading partners.

NOTE: The six foreign currencies in the CERI are the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen, the U.K. pound, the Chinese yuan, and the Mexican peso. The South Korean won forms part of the index before 1996, but the Chinese yuan does not. The CERI replaced the C-6 index in October 2006. It is calculated using multilateral trade weights, while the C-6 index used bilateral trade weights.
