Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces; and
the Navy League of Canada, Army Cadet League
of Canada, and the Air Cadet League of Canada.

The Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces share joint
responsibility for the Cadet Program with their civilian counterparts, the Navy
League, the Army Cadet League and the Air Cadet League. Each of these
organizations has a multi-layered structure, with a national headquarters in
Ottawa, provincial or regional offices, and a presence at the local unit or
community level.
Other organizations supporting the cadet Program include other
federal government departments, sporting agencies such as Biathlon Canada and
the Canadian Yachting Association, and local service groups such as the Royal
Canadian Legion, the Kiwanis Club, Lions and Lioness and Club Optimist.
