Purpose
This document states AECL’s policy for people and confirms AECL’s respect for the individual, and demonstrates the commitment to encourage and enable all employees to achieve their full potential. This policy takes precedence over those parts of any previous AECL policy or procedure that is in conflict with provisions of this policy.

Effective Date
This policy is authorised by the AECL Board of Directors and becomes effective on 1999 April 15.
