Since the CPP Investment Board began investing in private equity in 2001, we have committed  approximately $16.5 billion to private equity investments, of which approximately $7.5 billion has been invested to date.

We currently have a private equity fund portfolio comprised of over 85 funds with more than 50 managers. In addition we are making a growing number of principal investments alongside our private equity fund managers.

All private equity investing activities are pursued through our Private Investments department.
