Methods of Payment
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Purchase Orders. Cheques and Money Orders payable to CCOHS (drawn on Canadian or US banks) are also accepted.
Please note that prices for products shipped outside Canada are payable in US funds
Shipping and Handling
Electronic product subscription fees include the cost of delivery by first class mail but do not include any applicable customs charges and duties. Any special shipping arrangements are at the Subscriber's expense.
The cost of shipping Health and Safety Guides is:
- within Canada $2.50 per order plus $0.75 per unit,
- to the US $2.50 per order plus $1.50 per unit,
- outside Canada or the US $5.00 per order plus $3.50 per unit.
Returns
Should you decide to return a product to CCOHS please ensure you include the following information on your shipping documents:
- Returned goods - Country of origin: CANADA
- Enclose a letter stating that the goods were on loan for review and that
the value is $10 Canadian.
Please note that the return of goods manufactured in Canada is not subject to duty or tax. Should you inadvertently declare a value higher than $10, the shipment will be sent to a customs broker for clearance. In cases where CCOHS is charged brokerage fees, duty or taxes for the return of the goods, the sender shall be invoiced for these fees.
Your close attention to these guidelines will ensure neither party incurs additional costs and is greatly appreciated.
