This guide will assist in the development and implementation of safe work practices for outdoor work in cold weather. For employee training sessions, the guide is a practical handout for participants.
Target Audience
This guide is for workers, supervisors, health and safety representatives, health and safety committee members, occupational health nurses and health and safety professionals. Municipal work, electric power distribution, construction, groundskeeping, oil and gas extraction, trucking, police work, fishing and logging are some examples of cold weather work.
