The Hazardous Substances Data Bank® (HSDB) contains comprehensive data profiles on over 4,500 potentially toxic chemical substances. It is created and updated by specialists at the US National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Compiled from an extensive range of authoritative sources, HSDB is widely recognized as a reliable and practical source of health and safety information. Much of the data is scientifically peer reviewed. Each chemical record contains up to 150 data fields arranged into 10 broad subject categories. Complete references to the data sources are provided. Records are in English.
