CCOHS supports the occupational health and safety education and training of people. We offer OH&S related training courses, special programs, workshops and presentations. As well we participate in conferences across Canada and around the world.

In our ongoing effort to teach people about the many aspects of health and safety in the workplace, we offer training using a variety of delivery methods that include traditional classroom style courses held at CCOHS or at your location (on-site), and newly developed web-based e-Learning.We are quickly developing new e-Learning courses to add to our portfolio. Programs

In support of academic institutions and educators we offer several special programs that provide access to a preselected collection of databases at a special reduce rate. Use the links in the sidebar to learn more about each program.

Webinars 

Presentations created and delivered by CCOHS expert staff that use both Internet technology for delivering PowerPoints® or other visual file formats and phone-based teleconferencing for the audio. View and participate in these Webinars individually or in groups. They are an easy and efficient way to share relevant information with colleagues, managers and supervisors, health & safety committee members and other health & safety professionals. Presentations

CCOHS participates in occupational health and safety conferences and meetings across Canada and around the world. We share our collective knowledge of and expertise in OH&S, presenting material on a variety of topics. Wherever possible, we make the presentations available on our website, as reliable resources. Occupational Disease Forum

CCOHS facilitated the first tripartite, Pan Canadian discussion on occupational disease at a forum held March 3-4, 2005 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Visit our Forum website for information on the many strategies generated by the delegates.

Young Workers

CCOHS has a large collection of information for new or young workers. The links in the sidebar provide access to tip sheets for students, parents and employers; fact sheets about common job hazards; as well as links to all of the other young worker information and programs in Canada.
