CCOHS Expands Access to Health and Safety Training for Managers and Supervisors
HAMILTON, ON (November 23, 2005) - The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) has announced new course dates and locations for its popular classroom course, Health and Safety Training for Managers and Supervisors.
CCOHS’ intensive two-day course provides managers and supervisors and those with health and safety responsibilities with the information they need to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses, and to develop a safety culture in the workplace.
Now, to better serve Canadians, CCOHS has expanded the access and availability of the course by partnering with Escalade Training to deliver the in-class training in Vancouver, Regina, and Edmonton. Previously CCOHS offered the classroom course only at its Hamilton facility or as a customized solution delivered at clients’ facilities. By making the course more widely available, CCOHS is striving to equip more working Canadians with the information needed to be safe and healthy at work.
