HAMILTON, March 10, 2003 - The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) has launched an electronic newsletter to deliver up-to-the-minute OH&S information to the workplace health and safety community. The Health and Safety Report is sent free of charge to all subscribers.
CCOHS is Canada's national source of occupational health and safety information. The monthly Health and Safety Report furthers CCOHS' mandate to provide unbiased and relevant health and safety information to professionals and all Canadians.
Subscribers to the electronic newsletter simply register with their e-mail address and indicate their primary interests in OH&S. Each month, The Health and Safety Report arrives in the recipient's inbox. Topics vary from the latest hazard alerts to key calendar dates, answers to OH&S questions and news about the industry.
Another convenient feature of The Health and Safety Report is that it allows recipients to read only articles that are of interest to them. After checking the newsletter's contents and a summary of a report, the subscriber may click on a link to read the full story. If still further information is required, related content on CCOHS' comprehensive Web site is just another click away.
The Health and Safety report is only available electronically - a format that allows CCOHS to be environmentally responsible while taking advantage of the latest technology to spread its message.
