The Transport of Hazardous
Materials (TRANSPORT 49CFR) database contains regulatory and other
information related to the transportation of hazardous materials
in the United States of America. Records of hazardous materials
provide proper shipping names and identification numbers, hazard
classifications, CAS registry numbers, reportable quantities,
as well as special provisions for transport. In addition, the
North American Emergency Response Guidelines for each hazardous
material is provided.
Information is based
directly on the US transportation regulations table, and an effective
regulatory status date is provided. The database content and structure
is updated to reflect changes in the regulations. Records are
provided in English.
