Alan R. Curleigh
On November 12, 2002, the Government of Canada appointed Mr. Alan R. Curleigh as the first independent chair of the Canadian Commercial Corporation's Board of Directors.
From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Curleigh served as Executive Vice-President, Corporate Secretary and Member of the Board of TESSAG KSH Ltd, an engineering contracting firm based in Montreal. From 1980 to 1996, he was a key negotiator for this company and had prime responsibility for overseeing the company's major international capital project work which included the multinational structuring of projects and all commercial and financial aspects.
Mr. Curleigh was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters since 1996, and acted as Chair from 1999 to 2001. He was also a member and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Exporters Association from 1988 to 1996.
