ACTS
Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999: Order SI/2000-78 changes the coming into force provisions of sections 234 - 241 to March 31, 2001.
REGULATIONS
Canada Occupational Safety and Health Regulations (Canada Labour Code, Part II): Regulation SOR/2000-328 replaces Part XVI - First Aid (replacement sections 16.1 to 16.13 and Schedules I to V).
Inclusion List Regulations (Canadian Environmental Assessment Act): Regulation SOR/2000-309 adds items 73.1 - 73.3 to the Schedule.
Law List Regulations (Canadian Environmental Assessment Act): Regulation SOR/2000-308 adds items to Parts I and II of Schedule I.
Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Motor Vehicle Safety Act): Regulation SOR/2000-241 makes a change to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) standard as specified in section 115. Regulation SOR/2000-304 introduces a new class of vehicles - low-speed vehicles - and establishes their minimum safety requirements under Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 500.
National Energy Board Act Part VI (Oil and Gas) Regulations (Miscellaneous Program) (National Energy Board Act): Regulation SOR/2000-256 amendments correct non-substantive problems identified by the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations and the National Energy Board, including the repeal of section 5 and its reformulation as part of section 16.

REGULATIONS
Construction Projects (Occupational Health and Safety Act): Regulation 527/00 amends sections 29(1) & (2), 29.1, and 29.2; adds 29(0.1) & (0.2) (sewered toilet facilities).
Industrial Establishments (Occupational Health and Safety Act): Regulation 528/00 replaces section 7 (Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews).
QUEBEC
ACTS
Highway Safety Code: As a consequential amendment of 2000, c.12 (Bill 86) references to the "Police Act" are updated in three sections. As a consequential amendment of 2000, c. 26 (Bill 123), a reference to another Act is updated in section 519.65.
An Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases: As a consequential amendment of 2000, c. 20 (Bill 112), sections 12.0.1 and 293.1 are added (persons assisting members of a municipal fire safety service) and other sections amended to reflect the same.
REGULATIONS
Solid Waste Regulation (Environment Quality Act): Regulation 918-2000 replaces sections 56 (sanitary landfill accepting used tires) and 138 (fines) and amends sections 68, 86 and 99.
Used Tire Storage Regulation (Environment Quality Act): Regulation 918-2000 makes extensive changes, including: adding Division I.1 - Provisions Related to the Permanent Storage of Used Tires (sections 1.2 - 1.4), I.2 - Reclamation Businesses (section 1.5); amending section 2 and replacing sections 3 to 5 to require those storing used tires to submit a fire prevention and emergency measures plan; replacing sections 13 and 17 (financial guarantees); replacing section 48 (certificate of authorization).
SASKATCHEWAN
ACTS
Forest Resources Management Act: 2000, c. 46 (Bill 60) amends sections 31(1) (licences); adds sections 77(1)(f) (wild rice on forest land), 87(2.1) (seizure of forest products), and 99(1)(m.1) (licences respecting wild rice); replaces 87(1)(b).

Hazardous Substances and Waste Dangerous Goods Regulations (Environmental Management and Protection Act): Regulation 63/2000 replaces section 9(5) and adds (5.1) (transfer of hazardous substance to storage facility or underground storage tank).
