Optional Activities
Cadet corps organize and offer optional activities that takes
advantage of local resources. These activities are offered as a complement to the
Star Program.
The following tri-service optional training activities are supported by
National Defence by providing the equipment and training aids, rations, transportation
and field accommodation (winter/summer) :

Other optional activities are organized and funded by each corps/local
sponsor. When you are asked to participate in fundraising, the money goes
to pay for these activities:
- cultural tours
- social activities
- specialized training
- end-of-year events
Affiliated Unit are also a source of optional training such as abseiling.
