Squadron Training

The mandatory portion of training that Air Cadets must undergo to complete their training, qualify for promotions and summer camps is called the Proficiency Level Program.  It is conducted at the cadet squadron during the period which begins 01 September and ends the following year on 30 June. It consists of a combination of training sessions, training days and training weekends.

The Proficiency Level Programme is divided into 5 levels of training.

Normally a cadet should only attempt one Proficiency Level in a given year.  Each proficiency level builds on the knowledge and skills of the previous level.
