Introduction

It’s been 100 years since the Wright Brothers first flight. Canada’s aviation history is full of great stories, and we’d like YOU to use your artistic talent to tell one of these tales.

All entries must be posted marked by Thursday May 15, 2003

General Rules

  • Participants must be 18 years or younger
  • All entries must be posted marked by Thursday May 15, 2003
  • There will one winner in each category
  • Winners will be contacted by June 6, 2003
  • You can enter as many times as you like
  • Poster must reflect one of the aviation themes listed on the Altitude is Everything website www.altitudeis.com / History of Flight
  • Entries must be on WHITE paper, 81/2 “ X 11” or 11”x17”only (PLEASE DO NOT FOLD)
  • Entries must be in colour
  • All entries should be signed on the front by the artist
  • Must be an original composition - photographs and other artwork can be used for REFERENCE ONLY (unoriginal work will be disqualified)
  • Ensure the form below is attached or photocopied to the back of EACH art entry. The entry form MUST also be signed by a parent or guardian to be an eligible entry

Categories

  • Category I up to Grade 6
  • Category II Grades 7 to 8
  • Category III Grades 9 to 10
  • Category IV Grades 11 to 12

Winners will receive

  • An awesome flight in Gerhard Schauble's Canadian Spirit aircraft
  • A free trip for two to the London Air Show and Balloon Festival www.londonairshow.com where they will receive a special presentation from aviation VIP's
  • Their photo taken with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds
  • Their artwork posted on the Altitude is Everything website
