Power Flying Background

This program started in 1946 to sustain the high level of interest in the Air Cadet program during the Second World War created by the British Commonwealth flying training conducted at various sites across Canada. Both National Defence and the Air Cadet League of Canada created the Air Cadet flying scholarship program.

National Defence provides the funding and resources for the flying scholarship.
