BDC

Administration fees

BDC's policy is to keep its administrative fees as low and as fair as possible. BDC has no disbursement fees, and other fees are based on your project's needs and amount of financing, resulting in lower fees for smaller or more secure loans.

Here are the types of fees you can expect from BDC; not all fees apply to all products or services:
  • No disbursement fee. BDC does not charge for sending you a cheque.

  • Fees for changes. BDC charges a fee when you change your loan conditions i.e. switching from a floating to fixed rate, changing your repayment schedule, or repaying a loan before the due date.

  • Management Fee. A reasonable yearly management fee may be applied, depending on the selected financing solution. This fee is generally lower for smaller amounts.
  • Processing (study) fee. Some financing solutions require an in-depth analysis, for which BDC may charge a nominal fee.

  • Standby fee. If there is no disbursement but you instruct BDC to keep your funds available for a lengthy period, a fee may be applied.

  • NSF cheque. There will be a charge if there are insufficient funds to cover your payment.
