Alain Bouvrette
Alain Bouvrette, Business Development Manager in Kanata, has worked for FCC for four years. Alain grew up in St-Jerome, Quebec and now volunteers for Food Aid in Ottawa and sits on the board of AgriNat marketing co-operative. He also volunteers for the hockey club and plays softball in his community in L’Orignal.

“I want to create awareness about how many people have empty stomachs. It’s amazing how much farmers care about their communities. I want people to know that if we all pitch in, we can drive away hunger.”

Gordon Wood
Gordon Wood, Account Manager in Lindsay, has worked for FCC for one year. Gord lives in his hometown of Keene and is Past President of the Peterborough County 4-H Association.

“I want to do whatever I can to help those who don’t have enough food to eat. As primary food producers we can make a difference and make sure food gets to those who need it most. We need more awareness about hunger.”

Steve Jones
Steve Jones, Account Manager in Lindsay, has worked for FCC for two years. Steve farms in his hometown of Midland and helps organize Dairy Herd Improvement Association Events.

“Personally, I’ve never had to worry about where my next meal is coming from. Not knowing what it’s like makes me want to help end hunger pain for others. I’m honoured to drive the tractor for a couple days to help the local community and support such an important cause.”

Derek Emond
Derek, Account Manager in Vineland, Ontario, has worked for FCC for nine years. Derek grew up in Ancaster and now lives in Jordan where he coaches minor league soccer and volunteers for the CIBC Run for the Cure.

“I’m a big supporter of local food banks. I strongly believe in this cause because it has a direct impact on rural communities. I want to take part in the larger picture and help create awareness about hunger.”
