West Tour Crew

Dave Orosz, Tractor Driver
Dave Orosz, Account Manager in Essex, has worked for FCC for 18 years. Dave grew up in Middlesex and now lives in Essex where he volunteers for the United Way and community organizations.

“We live in the land of plenty but not everyone has enough food. Kids are especially vulnerable and this is why Drive Away Hunger is so important to me.”

Phil Emmott

John Steele
John Steele, Account Manager in Chatham, has worked for FCC for three years. John lives in his hometown of Zorra where he regularly supports local food drives.

“People in the agriculture community are so giving and caring. I feel it’s now my duty to give back to the communities that provide food for all of us. We take food for granted and I want to bring the hunger issue to light. This is a great opportunity to collect and share food with people who really need it.”

Phil Emmott, Tractor Driver
Phil Emmott, Account Manager in Woodstock, has worked for FCC for two years. Phil also farms in his hometown of Brantford and volunteers as a 4H leader and Holstein Club director.

“The hunger stories I heard while studying abroad will stay with me forever. Many people do not have the luxury of having a drink when they’re thirsty or eating when they’re hungry. Everyone should have basic necessities. I want to give back to the community I grew up in. No matter what Ontario back road you find yourself on, there is one constant - the kindness and hospitality of rural people.”

Chris Graham, Tractor Driver
Chris Graham, Account Manager in London, has worked for FCC for two years. Chris grew up on a dairy farm near Picton and now lives in Stratford and works with the local food bank.

Chris Graham

“I realized how big the need for food is in rural communities while working with the Stratford Food Bank. I knew Drive Away Hunger would have a big impact on the entire province. I’ll do my part to assist those that are less fortunate and make sure the wagon gets full!”

Jason Emke, Tractor Driver
Jason Emke, Account Manager in Owen Sound, has worked for FCC for two years. Jason lives in his hometown of Hanover and works with the District 2 Sheep Committee.

“Being directly involved with food production, I realized a personal need to aid with distributing food to hungry people. I want to help supply basic needs for less fortunate families in rural communities.”

Craig Richards, Tractor Driver
Craig Richards, Account Manager in Guelph, has worked for FCC for 29 Years. Craig grew up in Wooler and now lives in Guelph where he volunteers with his community church and organizes a local hockey group.

“In our busy lives we often forget about children who don’t have basic daily food supplies. My wife, a teacher in Guelph, sees many children come to school without breakfast or lunch. Along with the other teachers, we try to help them by taking food to school and giving them the clothes our kids have grown out of. I want Drive Away Hunger to exceed the goal and help feed those kids.”
