Director of Mediation Responsibilities The Director, Mediation is responsible for managing the mediation program; chairing complex mediation cases; providing expert advice; producing formal and ad hoc reports on the outcome of mediations. - Experience in mediation or in negotiation, or alternative forms of dispute resolution or cross-cultural dispute resolution
- Experience in managing human and financial resources
- Experience with aboriginal or treaty rights/land claims
- Excellent written, organizational, communications and computer skills required
Requirements - Language: English essential, bilingual desirable
- Open to residents of Canada. Preference will be given to Aboriginal people who are members of a First Nation
- Location of work: Ottawa
- Availability to travel extensively across Canada, including remote sites
