How do application servers work? With bright people to develop and maintain them.

You'll consult with management and provide direction to developers. Working in a mixed Windows and HP-UX environment, you'll be involved in the day-to-day operation of our application servers. As well, you'll provide technical advice to the development team on a number of projects. If you can make applications connect with the people who use them, this is your opportunity.

You have a thorough understanding of application server systems – preferably BEA WebLogic and J2EE – basic UNIX scripting skills, a degree in computer science and at least four years of related experience. Administration experience in UNIX systems or databases is an asset. We'll consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
